This defeat ended a 15 game undefeated run,out of 19 matchs,we lost only 3 games. We would like to thank all the players for a great season, looking forward to next season playing in a higher division. Each and every player has improved from the first game, which is great to see and what it's all about U11 Major Coachs
Kilcullen AFC U11 Premier team finished their season in style with a 3-0 victory over Clane on Saturday 22-April in Clane. The First 10 minutes were very even , however a fine passing movement involving Sean O’ Toole, Ryan Dunne led to Eoghan Dunne putting Kilcullen 1-0 up. Sean O’ Toole added a second before half-time while the defence of Jake Muldowney, Tom Cronin and Darragh Lambe defended well, with Georgie Duffin making 2 fine saves in goals. The second half was a very even affair, with both teams having lots of chances, Dermot Coleman, Cillian Keogh and Lennon Wilson worked really hard, Darragh Lambe was great in goals in the second half to keep Kilcullen 2-0 ahead. In the last few minutes a break-away goal from Georgie Duffin put the seal on a fine 3-0 performance.
