Have your say in July’s top Dublin club player! New Ireland Assurance Player of the Month award returns for a second year, honouring the best performers from across the adult Dublin Ladies football championships as the business end of the competitions comes into view. In 2016, Ballyboden St Endas Emily Flanagan, Naomh Barrog’s Laura McGinley and O’Dwyers Shannon Richardson were among the winners for their exploits in club colours. It’s shaping up to be another cracking summer of action with the semi-finals coming to a head this week in many instances while the Junior C to G championships gets underway in earnest. The Gazette group of newspapers in conjunction with competition sponsors New Ireland Assurance will be following the action every step of the way as the race to become 2017 Dublin champions builds month on month. As with last year we are seeking your help to nominate the stars from around the club game and encompass senior, Intermediate and all junior grades, those that make a huge impact. Send in your nominations to email@example.com by Monday July 31, including the players name, club and a couple of lines about why you feel they should be up for the honour. For July’s award winner, the nomination period will refer to the group stages of the New Ireland Assurance competitions. Gazette Sport will announce the winner in their edition out on the 3rd of August, 2017.
