"I wonder what it would be like to live in a world where it was always June?" asked L. M. Montgomery. This June, the streets here in Dalkey are ablaze with blossoming flowers and trees and here at the Castle, we're as busy as bees. Our Living History Tours take place every day (except Tuesday) and Maeve Binchy & Famous Irish Writers' Guided Walks are on Thursdays (6.30pm) and Fridays (1.15pm.). Booking information here. www.dalkeycastle.com/

The outgoing Cathaoirleach Cormac Devlin bookended his highly successful and popular term as Cathoirleaclh at Bloomsday events. His inaugural event was the Joycean Evening at Dalkey Castle in 2016 and he came back last Thursday 15th to this year's Joycean celebrations as he was about to hand back his powerful chain of office. Thank you, Cormac. You have done the county some service!
